Two springs ago, I created custom caricature wedding placecards for a client. She just re-connected with me to email me the beautiful photos, and refer me to her friend. For this wedding, I hand drew each guest, or couple on each place card, along with their names. Here are pics and an excerpt from her email: “We still have our caricatures and every time we visit friends and families we see theirs framed.”

When a repeat customer’s friend asked her for an wedding gift idea for her husband-to-be, she suggested a Wedding Storyboard custom illustration. I really had fun creating this one, and shared a little of the pre-wedding excitement vicariously through the bride!

I recently created a custom cartoon for a NYC couple who loves to travel. I had a lot of fun creating this one, as I love to travel too! My favorite? Riding on an elephant in Thailand. Here is the artwork, 16 x 20″ ink & watercolor on paper:
