Illustrations at Fashion/ Health and Beauty Marketing Event

Today I had a great time drawing quick illustrations at a Fashion, Health and Beauty Marketing Event and product launch in NYC.  I sketched each party guest in black and white an asked them to choose the lipstick color of their choice.  I then colored in their lips with a pick from new Givenchy lip colors, and viola!  This marketing event/ product launch for press was lots of fun!  Here are some pics:

Etchasketch-a-Building!

It is great fun when we get to sketch subjects other than just people…. NYSketches recently sketched a bunch of buildings along with their owners/managers after a meeting with a GSH, an firm who provides green energy saving solutions for properties.  We spruced up the buildings with some green lansdcaping to highlight the green theme.  Here are photos from the event:

Wildebeests, Zebras, & Crabs, Oh My!

Body Crystals & Caricatures for Bloomingdales

NYSketches provided body crystal artists & caricature artists to several Bloomingdales locations around the Tri- State area to celebrate Bloomingdales Shopping Benefit– a multi charity event.  The body crystals artists were stationed in the Bloomingdales’ Private Label Aqua department of each store.  Here are some photos from the event:

Caricatures for Akademiks at Teen Vogue Rock Meets the Runway Event

On Sunday NYSketches provided 4 caricature artists to draw sketches at the Teen Vogue Rocks Meets the Runway Event at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square.  The event showcased a battle of the girl led bands with judges including Little Steven and an Akademiks fashion runway show.  Bonuses included free makeovers by Max Factor, and free caricatures, with pre-drawn rock star bodies wearing Akademiks clothing.  Here are some photos of the event:

Elizabeth, another caricature artist, and I drew sketches in the tents at FashionWeek  as well as last night at thePeroni Midnight Brunch Party.

The sketches were really popular, with a long line of guests waiting to be drawn as a fashion runway model, or spectator sitting with celebrities.

T Mobile Sidekick Release Party

Tonight, we did caricatures on pre- printed paper with an custom digital illustration of a T-Mobile Sidekick on the paper. The guests were drawn into the ‘screen’ of the sidekick- it was cute, people liked seeing themselves drawn as a cartoon. Here’s the pre- printed artwork on which the caricatures were drawn.
